Construction Clean
Subcontractor shall clean all glass and metal frames inside
and out. Extreme care shall be taken to ensure that glass
and metal frames are not scratched or marred during the cleaning
operation. Special attention shall be made to door and window
tracts to ensure that all foreign material is removed.
Subcontractor shall box out and haul away all boxes and debris
after finish plumbing, electrical, and hardware installations
are complete. Exterior porch, stoops, and/or slider landings
shall be scraped and swept clean.
Subcontractor shall clean all plumbing fixtures, mirror and
mirror wardrobe doors, including removal of labels. Clean
and dust all cabinets, shelves, drawers, counter tops, appliances,
light fixtures, furnace, luminous ceiling panels, pot shelves,
door, windowsills and base.
Subcontractor shall remove excess paint and any other foreign
matter from fireplace face, hearth and firebox using a mild
(10%) muratic acid solution. The use of muratic acid is limited
to the cleaning of brick and/or stone masonry only. Damage
to fireplace glass door trim shall be the responsibility of
the Subcontractor should damage occur resulting from muratic
wash splashing onto and destroying fireplace door finish.

Subcontractor shall clean and sweep off all roof areas visible
from interior and accessible without walking on roof tiles.
Subcontractor shall clean only minor paint splatters from
finish hardware, floor tile, aluminum closet tracks, etc.
If an excessive amount of paint cleanup is required, Subcontractor
shall advise Project Superintendent. The Painting Contractor
shall complete this work.
Subcontractor shall clean all smudges, marks and fingerprints
from painted areas.
All baths and showers shall be cleaned.

Vacuum all carpets with rotary brush hiding all seams.
Subcontractor shall scrape and wash down garages, driveways,
walks, patios, pot shelves and entries.
Subcontractor shall lock windows and doors when finished cleaning.
Subcontractor shall remove all construction debris from yards
prior to finish lot grading.
Subcontractor shall remove and haul away all boxes and debris,
scrape all floor arrears suitable for acceptance of carpet
and sweep interior of unit and garage.
*(Exclusions: Removal of excessive paint from
windows, hardware, flooring and tape from window frames).
